On December 4th, at the Solution Innovation District (SID), we hosted a delegation from the U.S. Consulate, Lagos, led by Julie P. McKay, Public Diplomacy Section Chief.
The visit highlighted the impact of the bold digital and innovation vision of Mr Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, whose leadership continues to attract global partnerships and opportunities for Anambra’s youth.

The delegation was received by Ms. Chinwe Okoli, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubatiin, alongside the Commissioner for Youth Development, Mr. Patrick Aghamba, and the UNDP Coordinator in Anambra State, Ms. Chiwetalu Okosi.
The team toured the SID facility, held a strategic meeting with SID management, and engaged with our vibrant innovation ecosystem—startup founders, innovators, Techies4Solution, academia, and tech hub leaders across Anambra.
The conversations focused on expanding global opportunities for young innovators, strengthening the Anambra Digital Tribe, and deepening collaboration with the United States through education fairs, exchange programs, and digital innovation initiatives.
Anambra’s innovation ecosystem is rising and the world is paying attention.
SID is ready for global partnerships that empower our youth and transform our state.
