Soludo Empowers 300 robotics engineers. 100 ISP network engineers. Funds 80 startups. Partner commits ₦1 billion to broadband expansion.
That was the outcome of a landmark day at the Solution Innovation District (SID) in Awka on June 16, 2026.
At the Anambra Startup Investment & Technology Skills Graduation Ceremony, SID celebrated the graduation of 300 Robotics Engineers trained in partnership with Circum Technologies, Champions of Anambra Digital Tribe got Laptops and the first cohort of 100 ISP Network Engineers trained in partnership with Connekt Broadband.
The event also marked a major milestone for entrepreneurship in Anambra, as 80 startups received seed funding of ₦1 million each, amounting to ₦80 million in startup investments.

In further commitment to the state's digital future, Connekt Broadband announced a ₦1 billion Connectivity Fund to support broadband deployment across Anambra's 21 Local Government Areas, creating opportunities for SID-trained engineers to serve as deployment partners, service providers, and digital entrepreneurs.

Governor Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, captured the vision succinctly:
"We are not waiting for Silicon Valley to come to us. We are building our own."
This is what it looks like when government, industry, and innovation come together to build talent, create jobs, fund entrepreneurs, and expand digital infrastructure.
Anambra is not merely talking about the future. It is actively building it.
Congratulations to all the graduates and startups
