Celebrating the Digital Tribe empowered by MTN Foundation

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation, Ms Chinwe Okoli represented Mr Governor, Prof. Charles Chukwuma Soludo, CFR, at the graduation ceremony of the MTN Foundation's ICT and Business Skills Training program.

The program received 300,000 applications from different states in Nigeria; 3,000 were chosen, and from this talented group trained, 300 emerged as the top participants and would receive a total of 90,000,000 naira in equipment grant to support their businesses( N300,000 each)!

The Special Adviser to the Governor thanked the MTN Foundation and their partners for successfully executing this impactful initiative that has empowered young minds from Anambra and other States with essential ICT and business skills. It's inspiring to witness the dedication and talent of the youth who graduated today.

She stated that the vision of MTN Foundation perfectly aligns with Mr. Governor's vision of raising the Anambra Digital Tribe, incubating technology-enabled startups, and smart SMEs through the Solution Innovation District.

She also congratulated the beneficiaries for their hard work and determination and reminded those from Anambra that their journey had just begun as members of the Anambra Digital Tribe.

She highlighted the great possibilities the beneficiaries can achieve by applying the skills they have learned. She encouraged them to apply the skills learned, keep pushing boundaries, and chase their dreams. Congratulations!

She warmly extended a hand of partnership to MTN Foundation and their partners in progress towards actualization of the grand vision of Mr. Governor with Solution Innovation District (the Silicon Valley of the South East).
