On Friday, January 19, 2024, Governor Professor C.C. Soludo CFR, led a delegation to a strategic meeting with the US Consul-General, Mr William Stevens and select leaders of US high-tech companies in Lagos at the US Consulate.
"The meeting explored areas of possible strategic partnerships, corporate alliances, technological collaboration and general innovation. We are intentional with establishing the Anambra Digital Tribe (ADT), supporting the tech and creative ecosystem with intentions to drive innovation as a basis for a new economy in Anambra”
“Our vision is to transform Anambra into the digital and creative capital of Nigeria, develop Africa's Silicon Valley with our Solution Innovation District (SID)"

Anambra Delegation made presentations showcasing giant strides the state is making so far so far at Solution Innovation District and the ICT Agency. SID in developing human capital has impacted over 100,000 people, directly trained 25,000 persons on various digital skills, developing the startup law, developing the innovation ecosystem, mini hubs, digitizing SMEs etc while ICT Agency is digitizing the civil service-equipped civil service with laptops, harmonising e-governance etc.

The Anambra state delegation included Commissioner for Industry; Mr. Christian Udechukwu, Special Adviser to the Governor on Innovation and Business Incubation, Ms Chinwe Okoli, and Managing Director of Anambra State ICT Agency, Chukwuemeka Fred Agbata.
